I mean, most professional writers know how to spell "expected." And Luis is not arrogant, I don't believe that for an instant. He's given all his money to his family, paying for their housing and such, he lives comfortably, but not lavishly, and he's the only guy who will sign for everyone whenever he's around. I don't doubt the Cabrera stuff, I don't doubt Lenny Harris willing to do what needs to be done, but you're trashing Castillo who's probably one or two Marlins who should be immune from any and all criticism. Oh, and I do remember reading something when we were in Cincinatti that McKeon wanted to give Luis a few days off, but Luis asked back into the lineup because most of our regulars (including Delgado) were playing injured or just not playing and Luis felt as if he'd be letting the team down if he sat out.

Guys like Luiy, Niner and Willis probably contributed in some way to the negativity over the course of the 20 months they've been with Jack and the rest of the team every single day. We shouldn't just give him a free pass because he's been here or he's likable or anything like that. That's about as silly as fans selecting the leaders of the team.
October 11, 200520 yr Miguel Cabrera thinks he is the sh*t because well, frankly he is the sh*t. That does not mean he has to go around acting up on people, you still have to pay your dues. This isn't the NBA where any high school kid can go around dunking at will. There is a lot more to baseball than that. And he should also not only do it for respect of his teammates and the game, but for himself. The more you bloat about yourself, the more you set yourself up for a big flop - see Barry and 'roids. If Cabs gets into trouble I don't think maybe guys would take his back.

I think she rather put up with her "husband" banging random women and wait for that $10M+ a year salary Migs will be making in a few years. It's a lot better than getting a divorce and not seeing that type of money ever again in her life.
