Posted October 19, 200519 yr On MTV, Thursday's 10:30... I don't know what is so great about this show, but I think it's one of the best reality shows MTV has created. It seems like a fantastic follow-up to the Osbournes. Anyone else watch it?
October 19, 200519 yr Author If I could block MTV off our TV, Id do it. Good to see one insolent Red Sox fan's opinion. Anyone else?

I don't like ABC much either. A lot of channels suck for different reasons... However, every once in awhile one comes along and stumbles onto an awesome show (see: NBC and the Office or FOX and Arrested Development) and sometimes the fans watch and sometimes they don't. That being said, ABC's comedys and reality shows suck. The comedys are formulaic and all look and feel the exact same (goes double for CBS and NBC's usual lineup). BO-RING. But, no matter how much ABC sucks, NBC sucks, ABC sucks... I wish I could erase Mtv from my memory forever. Every time I see it. :plain And yet, like some confused crack-addict, I always find myself wandering into that same dark alley and seeing that same gruesome scene. If it can ever be proven that watching crappy television ruins your life, then Mtv needs to be the first to be put on trial.
October 19, 200519 yr Author One good show on ABC, maybe two...and they are on the same night, back to back.
October 19, 200519 yr I think we need more Red Sox fan's point of view on television. Sans sports, news, and the occasional TV special I only watch 4 shows. 3 on F/X in three different seasons (Rescue Me, The Shield, and Nip/Tuck) and Lost...those are 4 of the very few shows left that are original at all.

A bit gory at times for sure, but kind of touches on American's gullibility and belief in Iraqi inferiority. Great! /Jewban Analysis
October 19, 200519 yr Im not a Red Sox fan but I gotta agree with Passion. I wish I could delete MTV from my DirecTV. The only shows I watch on a regular basis are Nip/Tuck, LOST, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sopranos, and Entourage. Besides that I watch sports all day long.
October 21, 200519 yr Author I love Reverend Run, I'm going to watch this show every episode they air. Exactly, it's not the same normal 'family' reality show. It's a more mature man who has philosophical ideals and raises a strong, healthy family.

And I wondered what, exactly, you considered philosophy to mean, as well as what good philosophical ideals are...
