yep .... he was financially secure enough to get players in place win a WS

 

he wasn't financially secure enough to make up for a weak gate AND make up for a bad lease AND fund a new stadium ....... then again there are few people with enough money to do all 3 of those things and a bad enough business sense to pull the trigger and eat the cost

Even if we averages 30k a night, that doesn't change the lease at PPS.

This "sorry ass franchise" is worth a great deal more now than it was when Loria bought it for a mere $150 Million.
