December 8, 200520 yr I think these guys can do well. Miggy just needs to be patient and realize he's going to get pitched around a lot. I remember that he pressed a lot in 2004 and swung at some bad pitches that year. If he can lay off the bad pitches and can remain disciplined all season, I look for Miggy to hit around .340. I won't say much about his home run and RBI totals simply because I don't know if he'll get many pitches to hit. He'll hit for a high average, though.
December 8, 200520 yr Ok...thanks for the insight....Platooning was the wrong word...I guess what I meant was if Willy is going to be our starting catcher, why wasnt he LoDuca's BACK-UP in 05'.....I could be wrong but wasnt he healthy towards the end of 2005? Also, Im really glad I found this site.....I always get berated by friends in SoFla because Im a die-hard Marlins fan (been since 99') so its actually quite suprising to see so many other die-hards here...excellent!
