Tigers Sign Kenny Rogers

Featured Replies

Hopefully this will work out for them, he is 41 years old. Could be good to have an old guy in the rotation as Verlander and possibly Zumaya will be in the rotation by years end.

If Kenny can match his numbers from last year I'll be a happy camper.

He's 41, wish the Tigs could have gotten a one year deal, but at the rate that pitchers are going this offseason, this deal sounds about right.

Hopefully his problems off the field from last year are gone. If they are then he's just a source of leadership for the young'ns.

Plus, Detroit is a much better pitching park then The Ballpark in Arlington is, that should look good to Tiger fans.

You got it. I'm going to look at it as a all-star pitcher coming to Detroit, and I'm happy with it.

I still want the Tigs to trade for Pavano though.

Kind of ironic.. didn't they just give him a not-so-warm reception a while back?
