Saw I & II Producer Passed Away

Featured Replies

What a shame, how old was he?

There better be SAW III though, it should be awesome.

Not too sure.... Halloween producer was killed at a wedding bomb in pakistan or iraq, but luckily his son was co-producing the last 2 or 3 Halloween films, so he should be able to continue

SAW I and II were sick movies, and i mean it both literally and metaphorically. they scared the sh*t outta me forever, but i still hope they make a third one, wouldnt it kinda be like the first one again thohug? since the cop is chained to the bathroom? But its the girl instead of the old fart. God i can still see that little rat poping out and shooting the cop when i close my eyes :shivers:

i'm hoping it will be about the cop, but just like the first one, the movie ends with that guy still chained in the bathroom, and we never heard of him again, the cop most likely is understood as dead

we hear of him again, hes the skeleton sitting in the bathroom area where the new cop is pretty much screwed.

Does a producer really make or break a film though?

Actaully they control the Budget. Which in Saw case was huge! This guy made Saw a low budget film. He only spent 1 Million dollars to make that movie and it produced over 102 MILLION!! He was able to make Saw 2 for a bit more but it was still considered a low budget film! Many say that cause of his death they might not make a profit on Saw 3 cause this guy knew how to spend money well...
