I'm not trolling, just saying that I think they both sucked big ass balls. Who agrees?

King Kong didn't disappoint simply because I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. That being said, I thought the dialogue was a bit iffy at some points (Jimmy and Mr. Hayes, for instance). The special effects were absolutely amazing.

 

Chronicles left me with mixed feelings. I thought the story was good, and the child actors did a great job, IMO. The visuals were astounding (animals and what not). However, some of the lines/scenes were cheesy...I'm guessing it's because the book was that way as well (never read it). I'll be able to give a complete review after I see the next one--supposedly it is a bit darker and more mature.

Yeah, I basically think the same thing you do. They disappointed me but I didn't think they both sucked bad. I've never seen a King Kong movie and I didn't even know he was gonna die but when he did, was I supposed to feel sad for some stupid monkey killing everyone in his path just to find some girl he sits next to while she tells him "beauty"? That stuff was stupid. I can't believe people cried over it.

 

Narnia bored me and was actually the first movie I ever thought about walking out on. It picked up around the end but it was still a boring experience. And to me, the kids sucked at acting. I hated how they made the little girl look smarter than everyone in the whole movie.

Yeah Narnia followed the book really well. If you didn't like the book, you weren't going to like the movie. If you haven't read the book you probably don't know where a lot of things are coming from, and if you went in expecting Lord of the Rings with a lion instead you would have a reason to be disappointed.

 

This edition of King Kong I have yet to see.

Well maybe that's it's. I've never read the book. Hell, I never even heard of "The Chronicles Of Narnia" until a few days ago when I saw a commerical for it. And I've never seen 1 second of LoTR so I wasn't expecting it with a lion.

I was going to see King Kong until I saw it was 3+ hours long, so I said f*** it and saw The Ringer instead and am glad I did :thumbup .

I was scared that my thoughts were not decent but I found out she was 17 on IMDB.com and I'm 18 so thoughts are ok.

The Chronicles of Narnia i havent seen it and dont plan too. King Kong I felt it was amazing. the graphics and everything awesome. i felt they made mr.hayes and jimmy alittle weird freaking made hayes look like a genious or something. Oh and i knew from the beginning he was going to die i mean cmon he's black, no black guy ever survives. I felt that at times they carried it along to much with kong and the girl. i get the point they like each other but i dont need to see both of them staring at each other for 20 minutes. especially the ending when it took forever to bring him down. Oh and Jack Black i think did an amazing job in this movie.

 

p.s. no need to cry at all during this movie.
