Featured Replies

MIGUEL CABRERA autograph signing at BC Sports Collectibles in the Aventura Mall on Saturday, January 28 from 1:00-2:30 PM.

Prices are $40 for Photos and Baseballs and $60 for gloves, bats, jerseys, equipment, etc.. For an extra $5 you can buy a certificate of authenticity (should be included  ) and for an extra $15 Cabs will sign a personal inscription.

Personal inscription for 15 bucks? That devalues the autograph, and they charge you more!!!

It doesn't devalue the autograph, it totally depends on what the inscription is. If you're a hall of famer then obviously a hall of fame inscription would increase the value, same as if you won a ROY award, MVP, Cy Young, threw a no hitter, perfect game, etc. etc. etc. etc. but a inscription like "To George, best wishes" or something then that'll make the autograph worthless.

Well I'm confused. What is a personalized inscription if not, "To George, best wishes'?

A personalized isncription is anything else written on the ball besides the actual signature. If D-Train won the Cy Young award last season then an inscription such as "Cy Young '05" would definitely increase the value of the ball. If a player is a hall of famer, then they would inscribe "HOF XX" or something of that nature and that too would increase the value significantly.

BTW, there's a Frank Robinson signing on January 8th and inscriptions for him are free :thumbup .

who cares about frank robinson?

Yeah, nobody should care about someone who is HALL OF FAMER with numerous MVP's in both leagues and won a WS MVP, a ROY, gold glove, and is an multi-time allstar with more appearances than I have fingers.

Oh, and he's also a member of this club, I can't recall the name but I think they call it the FIVE HUNDRED HOME RUN CLUB?

Anyone who is a baseball fan in general should care about Frank Robinson, he is one of the greatest players of all time... it's just the idiot kids who don't know anything about the history of the game and only know him as the manager of the Expos/Nats.

Where is Frank Robinson signing?
