well next friday im traveling on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas ship and just wanted to know if any of have gone on this or any other of RC'S ships because this is my first time traveling on a ship and just wanted to know what to expect such as the Activities,food,service,ETC.

Funny you should ask.. I work for Royal Caribbean. The Majesty is one of our older ships, but it's known for being more of a party ship than the rest of them. I think it gets that reputation because it does 3/4 day itineraries out of Miami..

 

As far as activities, there's a rock climbing wall and a bunch of little things like trivia games, etc... The cruise staff makes sure there's something going on at almost all times of the day.

 

But let me tell you, man.. and I don't just say this cause I work for the cruise line.. I love going on cruises. I don't even really participate in the activities.. I go hang out by the pool for most of the day, hang out at the disco or the bars at night... I love it...

I went on MOTS a couple years ago, had a great time.

i was on that ship a while ago. staff was great...general all you can eat food was subpar. dinner was good. places we stopped were fun. ship is kinda old tho.

 

next time check out princes cruises :thumbup

i heard the food is free except the sodas and that theres a basketball hoop and so shaq-man would it be a good idea to take pepto bismol just in case?

I guess you can say food is free. It's included in the price of the cruise. Sodas should be free when you eat at night in the dining room. If you're passing by a bar and want a coke, then you have to pay for it..

royal caribbean rocks..not as gawdy as carnival and not as boring as the fancier ships. i've been on many many RC cruises and you'll have a good time. bring money for the casino!

ive been on 11 RCL cruises. most recently, Explorer of seas x2 and radiance of the seas jsut last week. I love the cruises. You need to buy a coke card (a little sticker they put on your room key. 26 for kids 34 for adults.) Cruises are effin sick youll love it.
