4 point swing game tonight. this would be a major win for the panthers and would certainly end the year in some style....especially with a big road trip comin up!! i'll be there anyone else?

Should be a good one tonight, Habs have a habit of playing to the level of their competition...they beat Ottawa and lost to Washington in one week. :banghead So a Panthers win is definitely a strong possiblity tonight. :confused

Panthers WIN!! 2-1. Nieuwy scores both goals. Luongo stopped a penalty shot by Kovalev late in the 3rd to hang on to the win.

It was a rather odd atmosphere, it felt like a Montreal home game... the GO HABS GO chants were non stop the whole game and they drained out any and all Panthers chants, when the Habs scored their only goal the roar of the arena was intense. It was worse than the RedSox@D-Rays and Mets@Marlins games.

 

They weren't all Habs bandwagoners either, during the singing of the Canadian national anthem like the ENTIRE arena was singing along so you knew they were all snowbirds :lol .

 

In the 3rd period when there was taht problem on the ice, they were showing everyone on the jumbotron and I was on there! I had a red Panthers jersey on and was standing up and I waved my arms crazy lol.

think they oughtta fix that hole thats been in the ice the last week

that save on that penalty shot was amazing I think.

 

That hooking call was total BS
