August 30, 200323 yr First off it was a great win but I can't stand Jammal Lord as QB of this team. He is a RB playing QB. This guy can't throw for beans. I would like to see Joe Dailey get a chance to show what he can do against Utah State next week. If he does well I say let him start over Lord. All I have to say about the defense is the Black Shirts are back! This team held a top 15 offense to 7 points and all of that coming on the first drive. Peleni you are the man!
August 30, 200323 yr Author When they beat teams other than fringe contenders, I will be impressed. Huh? Cowobys were ranked 24th and have the best WR in the country. They also were one of the hottest teams in college football. Please Oklahoma State is a solid team.
August 30, 200323 yr I was very impressed with the defense. It's way better than last season's defense. Nebraska's only weakness is their dismal passing game, but if their defense continues to play well they'll be able to stay in the game when they play against texas, kansas st. and colorado. Go Huskers!

Being ranked 24th in The Big 12 is nothing special, there is no way Nebraska could even think about beating KSU, OU, or Texas. Nebraska still has a long way to go before you can say their back. Week 1 is always common for upsets, winning over and over makes you special, Nebraska has yet to do that.

Their offense can only get better and I doubt we will ever have this many penalties for the rest of the year. But we do have KSU at home this year and we don't play OU (Thank God). This team will shock some people I expect only 2-3 losses from this team.
