I applied to FSU and FAU, and got in to both, but I have pretty much decided that I am going to be a Nole because I want to experience being away from home.

No ivy league is really worth $200000 more than UF for undergrad.

Which one you leaning towards?

 

JMU is an awesome party school(plus a pretty good school anyways) from what I hear, but also the STD capital of the college world.

 

I went and looked at Longwood. It was nice and everything there, but I just couldn't get past the fact it is in Farmville, VA.

First choice is William and Mary. Then UMW, JMU, Longwood, and ODU.

 

 

I live in Williamsburg and don't want to leave. W&M is an awesome school and there are a lot of gay guys there so it is good to be into women there. Oh yeah, my girl goes there as well.

 

UMW is about as good but with less partying than JMU. I wouldn't mind going to JMU but I'd like to avoid a huge party school. Longwood is kind of lame because the kids there have nothing to do (it's in Farmville) and they get into a LOT of drugs and trouble. ODU, well, it's in Norfolk, and I don't want to f***ing live there.

Well, at the worst you can go to a second and third choice, or somewhere relatively close to get your grades up and reapply.

I applied to Florida, Florida State, and Pittsburgh. I got into all three. FSU has already offered my a $10000 scholarship (which would be on top of bright futures). It'd be nice to have a free $10000 to spend or save, but I'm going to the University of Florida, one of the top state universities, and it's free!
