Why on both ends????

Why on both ends????

Raptors accelerate the heavy contract coming off the books and the Knicks get a player with a little left in the tank plus a 1st rounder.

Why on both ends????

Davis has an expiring contract...cap space for the Raptors. I guess the Knicks want a pick badly enough (Bulls have the Knicks #1 this year) to take Rose's contract.

Draft class is pretty weak this year, though, so I don't get it, at least for the Knicks.

Ive heard it's not the Raptors actual pick though. It's the pick they got from the Nets, which should be much later. Isiah is so stupid with trades.

They just cleared 17 million dollars off their books for next season.

Davis will probably be bought out. The team now has 10 million in cap room for the off-season.

Thus, good trade.
