What did Comcast say when you called them about it? Could be a bad line in your house.

I had Comcast cable in Dallas. I never had any problem, but I was on DSL at the time through SBC, they are gay.

 

 

I hate DSL and will never get it unless absolutely forced into getting it.

I have it, and it's great...

 

Never had a problem with disconnection, except during major thunderstorms, In fact I actually even had internet all thoughout Katrina.

 

It could just be the area that you're in
