March 20, 200323 yr From NBC News: The reason the war started so suddenly, rather than the planned bombardment, was that intelligence gave them a location on Saddam Hussein himself, and 2 F-117 stealth bombers each dropped 2 bunker buster bombs and 40 Tomahawk missiles were fired at that location.
March 20, 200323 yr God bless those troops. I was in Jordan a few years ago, and it was complete hell. There were sandstorms all the time, and once the sun set, it was freezing cold. Of course, that's the least of their worries. May God keep them safe...this will be terrible.

March 21, 200323 yr AJ, if you think that was bombing them hard, wait a couple of days. This is just the tip of the iceberg. These strikes are simply little attention getters in the grand scheme of things. Wait until the troops start moving from Basra toward Baghdad, that is when the real bombing should begin. later......
