I never understood that whole Tupac/Biggie Smalls "beef".

Pac was better. RIP.

I always preferred O.D.B. but he was more the most underappreciated rapper to ever live. If he ever got a third of the dap Biggy and Pac get.

The Tupac/Biggie battle was overhyped and destroyed people's ideas of hip hop forever, it wasn't even that big of a beef till the whole west coast and east coast crap caught on. Biggie was better in terms of rapping and making complex rhyme schemes, Pac was more of a poet at the end of his years, in concious lyricism, Pac wins that. ODB was an amazing rapper who doesn't get enough respect, I agree but it was his eccentric behavior at the end of his life that turned people off on him.

I do admit, Jay-Z can be way too cocky and that makes people dislike him and the fact that in 3 percent of his songs were copied from Biggie portrays Jay-Z as a biter his entire career. Reasonable Doubt is one of the top 5 albums in rap history and not once did Jay bite, so to me he's a great rapper, though I don't like him at times.

"Killa" Cam ain't that good at all, Hova would deff. murder him if he wanted to. I just thought it was interesting how he showed all the lines he stole. But let's keep the thread on topic...

 

All I really liked from him was Juicy and One More Chance. I liked the first verse off of Hold Ya Head on Duets too.

Suicidal Thoughts was, in my opinion, Big's most incredible song. You never heard stuff like that in rap before, it's a really deep song.

I have all 2Pac retail albums, including all 17 released under his alias Makaveli. I have Ready To Die, Life After Death, Born Again, and like 2 others by BIG..Maybe I don't have all of BIGs stuff, but I'm willing to bet you I have all Pac's..
