April 4, 200620 yr the guy has good stuff but is inconsistent Ill take my chances with him, and yes he does have more upside than Bump I dont think its a bad pickup whatsoever Well, let's hope he improves from spring training then: 1-0 - 8.10 ERA - 7 games - 10 innings - 13 hits - 9 earned runs - 1 HR - 2 HBP - 6 BB - 8 K's. $385,000.00 I can see why the Tigers got rid of him. It doesn't matter how hard you throw if you can't get it over the plate!
April 4, 200620 yr I wonder who we are sending down to make room for German. I certainly hope that Nolasco and Carlos Martinez stay up. Carlos has some filthy, nasty, dirty stuff. I'm not being a homer here, but that kid has Brad Lidge type stuff. Fastball at 96, hard, sinking slider at 86-89, a hard curve at 84, and a changeup. I think he can be our closer this year.
April 4, 200620 yr I don't know what German's status and whether he can be signed to a minor league contract or has to stay on the 25 man roster. Anyone who knows, please fill us in.

I'd guess either Messenger or Resop. Most likely Messenger.
