Posted April 19, 200619 yr My first post We have a surplus of unreliable relievers, starters, position players, coach corps. The front office doesn't want to spend a dime on the team, so we have to live with that. This is going to be a long year plenty of dissapointments and satisfactions too, so don't be down we have to smile and said : It's only a ballgame. Next year for sure we are going to rock.
April 19, 200619 yr its just tough to see a loss like today, because we as a forum have so many die hard fans that would have loved to see them win the game even if it was 8-7. things like this needs to let the Marlins know that they need to evaluate whats going on. Eric Reeds bunts look more like ground balls then anything else, and errors need to be cut down and the walks are killing us more then anything. Seems like anytime they walk someone to lead off the inning they have a chance to score.
April 19, 200619 yr To me, it's never "just a game". This loss hurts. I honestly thought we'd win that game. Oh well.
April 19, 200619 yr For the last three seasons, the marlins have been a joke, when they could have won big.
April 19, 200619 yr For the last three seasons, the marlins have been a joke, when they could have won big. I wouldn't go that far...
April 19, 200619 yr Author We could won last year and the year before, but we didn't have the balls to do it. This year is so different we have the balls to win but we are plenty of growing pains and unfortunely we are not supporting this team. see stadium attendance chart, see press coverage, see politicians joking and playing with us. Florida Marlins ownership sucks, Loria is extorting Miami and we are in a middle of an stupid war between him and ths county/city/MLB. This young team deserves to win and hey are gonna do, but remember it is a long long season, everybody struggles and everybody gets hot. Those boys need our hugs and greets not our bullets. Go Fish!!!!!
April 19, 200619 yr Yea cause winning big in this league is so easy..... take a look around. Â Â Also Loria put a good winning product on the field for 3 seasons and still could not win over the people or the city/state. Do you really blame him for the teams problems?

Go Fish!!!!! Do you have NHB (not having balls) W/L splits among teams that have won or lost in the past 10 years? I am skeptical to the fact that no Marlins the previous season had "balls." Or does it only take one, i.e. Mike Lowell, to bring down the whole "balls" matrix to team success. No team deserves to win. They need to earn it. There's no crying in baseball.
