The Sixers just have to get the ball to AI and Webber and they'll be fine...oh and Kyle Korver has to play some defense.

Miami vs Chicago

Key Matchup: Miami guards vs Bulls perimeter shooting

This is the only way the Bulls can stay in the series. They have to be consistent on the outside, because they have no chance in the paint. Gordon will be their best player I think, because he's a very streaky shooter.

I'm interested to see if we get any Nocioni/Shaq or Nocioni/Wade fights (they have history).

Overall, as long as Miami feeds the big fella and Wade does his thing--that should do it.

Another big key to the series is getting Zo, Posey and Williams all back into playing shape. Hopefully Zo is back for game 3 or 4 to get back into rhythm. Posey starts on the bench, and he'll gradually work himself back into the rotation.

Get the f***ing ball to Shaq the first three quarters then let Wade take over in the 4th. Guards gotta play strong perimeter defense but if Zo is able to play, they can give up some drives. And if Posey, Williams, and Walker can hit threes, we'll dominate.

What the Spurs need to do:

-Stop Bibby, especially by limiting his shooting opportunities, you dont have to worry about him scoring on the penetration largely, but you do have to stay in front of him on the jumper. Defending the high pick and roll will be crucial.

-Make Artest's life difficult. He has been shooting horribly, so you just have to limit his opportunities to score.

-Playing the passing lane when Miller has the ball. Duncan is going to have to be sure to play tough defense on him and just be sure to defend his jump shots.

-Bonzi Wells will try to post up whomever is guarding him. His outside game is horrible, you have to stay in front of him and let him have the jumper.

Essentially the Kings rely on dept passing and making the open jumpers and off the ball cuts. The important thing will be to just play smart defense, keying on the passing lanes and contesting all jumpers.

The top two keys obviously are Bibby and Artest, you cut them off, especially Bibby and you see them struggle.

Now as far as what the Spurs have to do, they just have to play Spurs Basketball. ?

-Duncan has been playing his best basketball lately, his foot seems to be getting better and he needs to have his bankshot working.

-Tony Parker has to continue to penetrating the lane. His jumper is much improved and he can knock down the medium range jumper. He has to knock down the jumper to open up penetrating opportunities. He needs to continue to find open teammates as well, especially off penetration.

-Bruce Bowen just needs to do his thing. He will switch off between Bibby and Artest focusing on whomever needs to be stopped most at a given time. I expect to see him start on Bibby, but could switch to Artest at any time. As usual any offense is bonus and he brings a much improved offensive game.

-Manu Ginobili will face the task of going up with Artest. The playoffs are the time when he steps his game up a couple of notches. He will have to do so against Artest, but he did a great job last year against Prince the only other perimeter defender right now that is in the same class. Ginobili will have to pick his spots for his drives and make his opportunites count.

The Spurs must knock down their jumpshots to keep the middle open for Duncan and for penetration.

The pick and roll, crucial for the Kings success, will also be crucial for the Spurs success. They will need to use various screens and rubs in order to get Ginobili free for penetration. Duncan needs to have his post up game rolling, when the double comes, he must find the open shooters and they must knock down their shots.

And that in a small nutshell are the Spurs' keys for victory.

Ron Artest could pretty much kill Bowen in the post though, what would the Spurs do if they kept giving the ball to Ron in the post? Put Mohammed on him?

Bowen would work on denying the ball to Ron in the post, much like he did with Dirk a couple months ago in the TNT game at home.

If Ron is having success getting the ball down low in the post then expect a swich. Nazr will play maybe 20-25 minutes a night. Look for someone like Horry to defend him in the post if needed or perhaps Ginobili. Both are very saavy defenders who dont get the credit they deserve.

They key would be denial of the ball in a prime position down low.
