passion, i think most of us here are rooting for beckett. i think we may have a thread on all if not close to all his starts. and most of us wanted him to win against aj. we got nothing but love for josh.

Just thought I'd post it for all you Beckett lovers out there!

That's what started the thread.

I don't care that it was made, I just know he wont be the one posting his next outing if it's good.

I just and have always felt it lame to hate on a guy who was so good for your franchise, just because he isn't there anymore, and it makes up for some sort of personal void he has in rooting for his own team this year when Becks has a rough outing.

I think you have it all wrong, I dont hate the guy, and I do hope he does well in Boston, I just thought that after his 3-0 start everyone regarded him as the best thing that ever happened to baseball. Although I wasnt wishing it, I knew eventually he'd prove to be more voulnerable than the numbers were showing, and he'll probably end the season at or below .500.

Perhaps Im wrong and he'll do extremely well, heck maybe he wins the Cy Young, but that'll only make his loss more painfull, on the other hand if he struggles the loss wont seem that bad.

Just try not to be so sensitive and dont over think such petty issues :thumbup

Not being sensitive, I just wasn't shocked to see a thread on him doing poorly, where if he had done well...wouldn't be much at all.

I'm also sorry you believe he will be at or near .500 this year.

But like I said, it was posted to cope with the loss, not something I agree with and thats why I posted it.

Cheers.

Well, if it makes you feel better, and to show I dont hate the guy, Ill start a thread next time does well. Fair enough?

Don't do anything for my benefit, again, I was just pointing out my general reaction to it.

I know, Ill still do it though... and of course your reactions and comment will be most welcomed, as always.

It's a bad start. In April. To a non-division team.

He's still gonna rebound and be totally kickass in the playoffs.

Best big game pitcher in baseball

he will be playing tons of those and hopefully for a long time as a member of the red sox

bend it

Passion,

don't be so sensitive.

Beckett is an awesome pitcher, and I know he will do well. But the hype was getting out of hand.

He is still young and have some growing to do. With that said I expect him to have many 20 win seasons with the Sox. I hope he does well

Oh, I really didn't notice that. I see what you're saying now. I love Beckett and hope he wins the Cy Young this season. Most other fans here do, too.
