German coming back

Featured Replies

Franklyn German (shoulder) hopes to pitch one inning for Single-A Jupiter on Sunday.

German is expected to return from the disabled list on May 26.

Who gets sent down now? Andino?

Wouldn't you think Andino goes down to make room for Hermida?

That is unless Borchard or Aguila are either traded or sent down to AAA. I would think both would be kept around (in the organization) at least until Hermida's proven to be 100% and/or the centerfield situation is resolved.

Sad to say but when they activate German i would think one of the youngins like Petit or Pinto get sent down unless they finally rid themselves of Herges???

I think Petit is a lock to stay up with the start he has had. Pinto would probably be better off down in AAA and starting if he fails to get regular work in the bullpen, but then again he is the only lefty in the pen:) It'll be an interesting decision for sure.

Its also possible that it could be Olsen, although personally I like his potential a great deal and I think his problems are very fixable with more experience, so I would rather we stuck with him.
