so lets say i call tomorrow to order the tickets i dont have to pay till they make the playoffs ? and where do you pay ?

if its anything like Dolphin playoff tickets, you give your credit card # and if they clinch than you get charged for the 1st game, and if a second one is needed than you'll be charged for that game. if not than your credit card account stays the same.

It's pretty simple, Esko305.

What you'd be doing is just holding your seats. If and when we do clinch, you will get charged on to your method of payment. Otherwise, you are just reserving the seats, if you will.

The breakdown-

No playoffs- No charge

Playoff berth- Charge.

What about the ticketmaster charge?

Here is an article on some more info on Tickets.

Marlins playoff tix on sale now

By Joe Frisaro / MLB.com

MIAMI -- With the Marlins in the midst of Wild Card fever, Florida fans can get into the action by getting a head start in purchasing playoff tickets.

The Marlins will begin selling individual game playoff tickets at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

Tickets for the first round can be purchased at www.floridamarlins.com, or through www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans may also call Ticketmaster in Dade (305.350.5050), Broward (954.835.TEAM) or Palm Beach (561.998.TEAM) to purchase their individual game Division Series tickets.

Should the Marlins win the Wild Card race, they are scheduled to start their National League Divisional Series on the road Sept. 30.

The two games at Pro Player Stadium would be scheduled for Oct. 3-4.

Individual tickets start at $9 for the Upper Deck, Fish Tank, and Outfield Reserved. Prices range from $9-$55.

Group ticket sales (15 or more seats) also go on sale Sept. 23 by phoning the Marlins' Sales Office at 1-877-MARLINS.

The Marlins are one of the surprise stories in the league this season, exceeding projections and becoming a strong contender down the stretch.

Behind stellar pitching, outstanding defense and timely hitting, the Marlins emerged from 10 games under .500 (19-29) into playoff contention.

The Marlins have been led this season by center fielder Juan Pierre, catcher Ivan Rodriguez and All-Stars Mike Lowell and Luis Castillo.

Lowell, who broke a bone in his left hand in late August, expects to be ready for the postseason.

Their young pitching staff has captured the attention of the league with the rise of rookie left-hander Dontrelle Willis.

The first time Florida reached the postseason, the franchise was in its fifth season. In 1997, the Marlins won the Wild Card and startled the baseball community by capturing the World Series title in a thrilling seven-game series against the Indians.

Game Seven that year was decided at Pro Player Stadium.

A crowd of 67,204 attended that 11-inning affair, won on Edgar Renteria's RBI single, scoring Craig Counsell with the clinching run.
