Jenkins and Fielder collision

Featured Replies

MILWAUKEE -- Brewers right fielder Geoff Jenkins left Sunday's game in the bottom of the fourth after suffering a mild concussion in the top of the inning.

Jenkins collided with first baseman Prince Fielder while chasing down a foul ball. He remained on the ground for a minute after the collision.

Jenkins stayed in the game, but he was pulled for pinch-hitter Gabe Gross in the bottom of the inning.

Did anyone see this on BBTN? It was pretty bad. The ball landed in the stands and they both collided about 10 feet from where the ball was.

Did anyone else think it looked as if the collision could have been avoided?

Im sure it was just the camera angle but it looked really weird on Sportscenter

Probably if Prince was about 40 lbs lighter it could've been avoided, but I'm guessing at his size, once you get a certain amount of momentum going, you're not gonna stop or change direction on a dime.

Prince needs to lose weight, but I wonder if he thinks that'll take away his power.
