This is Moehler's last start IMO. Either Petit will take his spot, or Petit will be sent down and Vargas brought back up(Vargas has been strong) and taking the 5 spot, or Sanchez gets brought up and Petit down.

 

 

Time to let Petit get some starts or recall Vargas.

He's pitching in Albaquerque. He's had one bad game. Aside from that one bad game.

 

In his other 3 starts, he has went 19.2 IP, had 15 K, and has a 3.07 ERA. In a hitters paradise.

 

So, he's doing well. Aside from one bad game. And no matter what, he, along with Petit and Sanchez, are all much better options than Mitre will ever be.

Look like Moehler got some protection in case someone tries to shoot him.

Two things:

 

1) It's mathematically impossible to have a 3.07 ERA in 19 2/3 innings pitched.

 

2) He's had five starts.
