June 14, 200620 yr So seriously, are we gonna lose? Subscribe From: 1furcalfan1 8:58 pm To: ALL (1 of 5) 72508.1 To the freakin Marlins? I just dont believe it. Options Reply From: yukon36 9:05 pm To: 1furcalfan1 (2 of 5) 72508.2 in reply to 72508.1 Too many strikeouts. Chipper just watched 3 strikes go by and never moved his bat. Marlins are supposed to have a worse strikeout record than the Braves, but you sure wouldn't know it by tonight's game. Options Reply From: grizpack 9:11 pm To: ALL (4 of 5) 72508.4 in reply to 72508.3 If we're playing, we're losing. The opponent doesn't matter. D-backs swept four from us in Atalnta the went home and dropped four to the Mets. Let's look at tomorrow's matchup: Thomson (pounded his last 5 starts) vs. Willis (hasn't given up more than 2 earned runs his last 5 starts) Gee, I wonder which team comes out with the W tomorrow. Pitiful.

He is really throwing the ball well. Of course playing us right now sure helps.
June 14, 200620 yr its still the braves...we got make them bite the curb while their down...tomorrow is a big step in that direction...
June 14, 200620 yr Braves fans should worry. They'll still find a way to somehow win the division despite all odds. Satan Lord of Darkness will see to it.
June 14, 200620 yr Author General - Who thinks we should do like the Marlins Subscribe From: cashmoneyrecords 10:18 pm To: ALL (1 of 1) 72552.1 We should just keep Andruw, Francoeur, Ray, McCann, Ramirez, Betemit and trade everybody else. We are not going to win anyway we should just trade everybody and just play all young players until they get better. I would rather lose with a bunch of young players and minor leagurs than people like Chipper, Hudson, Smoltz, and Giles. hmm.... :mischief2

Smoltz gave up 3 runs and the bullpen gave up 1...who is really to blame there? Options Reply From: norris10 9:42 pm To: andruwismyhero (4 of 11) 72528.4 in reply to 72528.3 The offense. Options Reply From: Grace Kelly 9:45 pm To: john snyder unread (6 of 11) 72528.6 in reply to 72528.1 Uh...the Braves NEVER had a lead in this game. The bullpen gave up fewer runs than Smoltz, who nearly gave up a few homers there. Options Reply From: andruwismyhero 9:46 pm To: norris10 (7 of 11) 72528.7 in reply to 72528.4 No...Im sorry I love Smoltzie as much as the next guy but he isn't perfect like most of you think he is. He lost the game when he gave up the RBI double to the pitcher. Smoltz was to blame for this defeat. Options Reply From: norris10 9:47 pm To: andruwismyhero (8 of 11) 72528.8 in reply to 72528.7 The offense only scoring 1 run is what lost it for us. Even if Smoltz hadn't given up the double we would have still lost. Options Reply From: Harsha Viswanathan 9:49 pm To: Grace Kelly (9 of 11) 72528.9 in reply to 72528.6 A starting pitcher giving up 3 runs isnt bad. You cannot blame Smoltz on the loss. Our offense is pathetic, mike reminger's job is to hold them where they are and he didnt do that. This team is dead for the season, better look onto next. Options Reply From: Grace Kelly 9:53 pm To: Harsha Viswanathan unread (10 of 11) 72528.10 in reply to 72528.9 True. But like you said. Where was the offense. Rems could have pitched straight strike outs and... I meant that it WASN'T the bullpen's fault for once because it seems thats what everybody wants to blame it on.
June 15, 200620 yr Author Yeah, we only won 1 game. NVM about the troll prediction. I don't feel like posting Braves reaction from the game today.
