Canes in the College World Series

Featured Replies

On ESPN right now.

Looking good so far.

We're up 5-0 on Oregon State, thanks to a bunch of walks and some timely hits.

I'm tuned in. Been a pretty boring game, which is a good thing if you're a Canes fan. Canes jumped on them early, and OSU hasn't mounted any kind of threat to the lead.

ugh.

at least a 30 minute lightning delay before we can start the 8th inning.

let's hope we can get this over with tonight.

I don't know if it will be "big-time" underdogs...at this point, all the teams are good and anyone can win. And we just won 11-1. No one really expects much from these Canes, though, so they get to play pressure free.

Miami down 2-0 in the top of the 2nd inning with Rice threatening. 1st & 2nd 1 out.

we got out of it.

danny gil is looking shaky so far. or, perhaps more appropriately, rice's bats are looking good.

still down 3-2 entering the bottom of the 9th.

we've been playing pretty well and getting plenty of men on base, but unfortunately we haven't been able to get the runs home.
