Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Featured Replies

anyone played this yet? It's out for XBox360 and the PC. Being hailed as the greatest RPG to date.

It's not multiplayer, so no online fun. That's the tradeoff I guess, they put everything into making it the best single-player adventure possible. Getting terrific reviews though. Think I'll get it for PC...

I rented the game and it really is amazing what you can do in the game. There are hundreds of hours of gameplay within the game. I barely scratched the surface of it and I want to pick it up when it gets a little cheaper. The graphics are outstanding and the amount of things you can do is so massive that sometimes you forget about the main quest.

I have the predecessor to this one, (Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind), which was fantastic. And this one's supposed to be just amazing.

My only worry is that my PC graphics card isn't up to it.... but Best Buy has the PC version for $40 right now.

Online multiplayer isn't as much fun as everyone makes it out to be. Too many idiots ruin a lot of potentially good on-line games.

Getting shot by guys on your team, having a guy just run around and act like an ass, getting beat up because you have some gold (which is MORE understandable) and cheat codes (I got MAJORLY screwed over a few times in Motor City Online) have soured me on the experience.

Granted, the companies need to get better about A) cracking down on this stuff, and B) making it so you can't cheat or are punished for doing so.

I have it and it is mind blowing. The only problem for me is my disc got damaged so I need to get a replacement (Thank god for warranty from Circuit City :lol )

Great game, probably be the GOTY at a lot of places. I hated Morrowind but Oblivion is so much better. The Darkbrotherhood missions are the best in the game, plus you get a cool wardrobe after you beat the quest. :)
