Thats what i have been saying all along. He gets clutch hits also but that day he goes like 1-4. Thats Inconsistant in my Opinion.

 

Ex: Pierre goes 2-4 or 3-4 alot, Now thats Consistant.

The word consistant means that you do the same thing night in and night out. Alex Gonzalez is consistant because he goes 0 for 4 every night. The word has nothing to do with whether his performance is good or bad.
