June 25, 200620 yr Ok...Im out of the loop a little here..... If Im understanding this right there will be a doubleheader on Sunday Game 1 (Dontrelle) is @ 1:05 and game 2 (call up) is at 8:05????? Ive heard of twi-night doubleheaders but that is pretty strange if im understanding this right......can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks
June 25, 200620 yr Josh Johnson won't pitch Sunday night after his start on Saturday was rained out. Johnson warmed up on Saturday, so the Marlins are going to hold off on throwing him until Monday. Manager Joe Girardi indicated that someone would be called up to start Sunday night, but it won't be Yusmiero Petit, who pitched Friday, or Renyel Pinto, who started for Triple-A Albuquerque today. Double-A Carolina's Anibal Sanchez might be the choice. Jun. 24 - 9:41 pm et rotoworld agrees

If yes, I am thinking they want to have a nice cushion between the games just incase there is a rain delay.

Since we have a game on monday and we have to travel, the game should be played right after game 1. At least that is the case usually.
