"I think that might be one of the toughest situations for young hitters to hit in because I think hitters tend to get greedy when the bases are loaded," Girardi said. "But we'll get better."

 

In spite of the tough loss, Girardi tried to the see the positive side of his team's performance this weekend. "This is not an easy team to play and we knew that coming in," Girardi said. "Obviously we would've liked to take the series today, but we've got to move on."
