September 27, 200322 yr The beer is alcoholic, but they do have non-alcoholic drinks. Maybe the drinking-age does not apply since it would be legal for Cabs to drink in Venezuela.

But even if he does, who cares. A slap on the wrist for a MLB player...actually, a slap on the wrist for anyone...underage drinkin...whats that? a fine? I've got friends that have been caught (idiots for bein caught, but oh well).

September 27, 200322 yr Furman, I think this thread is stupid, but all I saw him chugging is some cider. He was definately chugging champagne. How are you so sure...Sparkling cider/sparkling grape juice come in bottles similar to champagne or it could have just been non-alcoholic.This thread is stupid...THE MARLINS CLINCHED THE N.L. WILDCARD. What time is this to talk about underage drinking.
September 27, 200322 yr I think the only alcoholic drink was the beer. The champagne is usually non-alcoholic or cider since most ballparks are in cities that do not allow liquor on the field or clubhouses and many teams want to cut down on player drinking.
