July 23, 200619 yr Talk about a lineup of sequels: Pirates of the Caribbean 3 Spiderman 3 Harry Potter 5 Great stuff.
July 23, 200619 yr The only movie I have interest in seeing is Pirates. Though I'll undoubtedly get tricked into seeing Spiderman as well, despite strongly disliking the first two movies.

July 23, 200619 yr I'll see Spiderman 3 because it's a blockbuster, the end of a trilogy (perhaps), but I don't really like the first two and I think they are some of the most overrated movies ever. I'm looking forward to Transformers, Pirates, Shreak, and Spidey.

Agreed. I don't really understand why most of mainstream America considers Spiderman 1/2 to be such great movies; it was campy to a fault, contained tons of cheesy dialogue, sloppy CGI and some really poor and unimaginative fallback writing. It just didn't have the depth of Batman Begins, Xmen2 or even the latest Superman.

I don't think Chris Nolan would do a good job with the Spider-Man franchise. However, he's perfect for Batman.

July 23, 200619 yr It was campy to a fault, contained tons of cheesy dialogue Dude, did you ever read the comics? What works in comics doesn't neccesarily work on film. I didn't say they were bad adaptations, I said they were bad movies.

August 18, 200619 yr Author You are forgetting Shrek the 3rd which also comes out in the month of May. I also forgot to mention Transformers the 1st. My bad I owe you an apology, I didn't realize Shrek the Third was the actual working title.

I have no idea why people like these movies so much. I feel like Mugatu in Zoolander.
