Talk about a lineup of sequels:

Pirates of the Caribbean 3

Spiderman 3

Harry Potter 5

Great stuff.

The only movie I have interest in seeing is Pirates. Though I'll undoubtedly get tricked into seeing Spiderman as well, despite strongly disliking the first two movies.

I'll see Spiderman 3 because it's a blockbuster, the end of a trilogy (perhaps), but I don't really like the first two and I think they are some of the most overrated movies ever.

I'm looking forward to Transformers, Pirates, Shreak, and Spidey.

Agreed. I don't really understand why most of mainstream America considers Spiderman 1/2 to be such great movies; it was campy to a fault, contained tons of cheesy dialogue, sloppy CGI and some really poor and unimaginative fallback writing.

It just didn't have the depth of Batman Begins, Xmen2 or even the latest Superman.

Spider-Man is not nearly as dark as Batman usually gets. I don't think Chris Nolan would do a good job with the Spider-Man franchise. However, he's perfect for Batman.

Dude, did you ever read the comics?

What works in comics doesn't neccesarily work on film.

I didn't say they were bad adaptations, I said they were bad movies.

You are forgetting Shrek the 3rd which also comes out in the month of May.

I also forgot to mention Transformers the 1st.

My bad

I owe you an apology, I didn't realize Shrek the Third was the actual working title.

Holy crap, I 114% agree with this comment. One of my favorite posts ever. I have no idea why people like these movies so much. I feel like Mugatu in Zoolander.
