Career pinch-hits record holder Lenny Harris was hired Wednesday by the Nationals as their minor league roving infield instructor. He batted .269 with 37 homers, 369 RBIs and 131 steals across 18 big league seasons with eight clubs, winning a World Series with Florida in 2003. Harris played all four infield positions.

Well seriously, what does an infield coach actually do?

I think in a position like his they just give him a jersey and allow him to like help anyway he can, teach the youngsters about how to play at such a high level and really just work with chemistry issues and um intangibles.
