The Daily Show

Featured Replies

anyone like the daily show here besides myself? I think it is the best news show out there beause it rips both sides and makes their flipping comments just to make each other look less foolish hilarous.

specially love lewis black on there.

It's not a news show. I hope you didn't actually mean that.

Anyway, I enjoy it on occasion, but I rarely ever make a point of watching it.

I know it isnt, but in truth it is better then most fox shows and CNN shows as they really arent News shows either but just commentary.

I find it hugely amusing though and great entertainment :)

Great show, Stewart is always great, and his correspondents are really talented as well. Recently though I've started liking The Colbert Report even more, even got a quote from the show in my sig.

I like the Daily Show...

A lot. Don't make a point of watching it, as has been said...

But, I liked Craig Kilborne a lot better as host. Whatever happened to that guy? He had the Daily Show, left it for whatever reason to do his own show, then he left his own show for whatever reason... Now what?

Jon Stewart's gotten a little too political in recent years, but the Colbert report is absolutly awesome because it doesn't take anything seriously.

yeah i really dont understand why he left the Late Late Show. last i saw him was in Old School

I think Kilborne left to focus on writing...

Let's see what Wikipedia says! Interesting...

In a 1997 interview with Esquire, Kilborn said that Daily Show creator and executive producer Lizz Winstead "does find me very attractive. If I wanted her to blow me, she would." [1]. Kilborn was suspended for a week for his comments, and Winstead later quit the show.

Kilborn's stint at the Daily Show had lasted only a couple seasons when another opportunity presented itself. David Letterman's production company World Wide Pants wanted to have Kilborn replace the retiring Tom Snyder on the Late Late Show on CBS. Kilborn accepted, and his last Daily Show episode aired on December 17, 1998 (on January 11, 1999 former MTV talk show host Jon Stewart replaced Kilborn on the Daily Show) . Kilborn hosted the Late Late Show for five years before resigning in August 2004 (succeeded by Craig Ferguson) to participate in the film industry. Kilborn made his motion picture acting debut with a small role in Old School (2003). In 2006, he appeared in three major motion pictures: The Shaggy Dog, The Benchwarmers, and Full of It.

Man, he's also got this dick remark about his son, too.

Craig Kilborn, YOU'VE FAILED!

I think I liked him on the Daily Show, liked his talk show less (although it had it's moments) and now he's disappeared.

Looks like he made some bad career decisions then.

Yeah, I think I like him less after reading his bio.

Oh, well. He was good in old school and he can tell his kids that when they ask what he does for a living. "I was good. In Old School."

If he came back and was on a good show, I wouldn't change the channel.
