It chugs like crazy and my system has been running like sh*t since I installed it, so I've been hesitant to get the Vista beta. I think I'm just gonna wait for the final to come out. UM students get free upgrades to the latest final version of Windows Professional and free copies of the latest final version of Office Professional. It's neato.
September 7, 200619 yr 768mb though the processor on this machine is 2.66ghz clunker of a celeron. on the bright side, it cost next to nothing when we bought it a couple years ago.

I haven't gotten my copy of Vista yet but I've been testing it on my boys computer with a copy he got from his company and it really runs well with at least 1GB of RAM.
