New Bubba Sparxxx cd is hot.

Featured Replies

I say is by far better than his first cd.This message is for the kiddies:

Lay off 50 and get this album...

Funny someone brought him up.

Bubba Sparxxx was my step-sisters boyfriend (of six months) 2 years ago. I have pictures from one of my brothers baseball trips in St. Augustine that he came to with us. This is back when he was driving a '96 Ford Explorer with a huge sub in the back. I saw him on MTV and was in awe.

BTW: Deliverence is his best song.

For sure

I just got hold of this CD today and I'm very impressed. As mentioned, Deliverance is damn good, but I personally prefer Back In The Mud, my pick for the best track.

Doesn't even hold a candle to The Love Below though. I can't stop listening to that CD, Andre 3000 is incredible.

has anyone ever seen the movie Brother Where far out Though, or something like that??

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

That's another classic from the Coen brothers, those two just make good movies. In fact, they've got one coming out this Friday, Intolerable Cruelty, looks pretty good.

If you haven't seen O Brother or Big Lebowski, you should.

well anyway, watch the deliverance video, the song and the video are based entirely on that movie

You all must be kidding? Rap? How old are some of you? You must watch MTV too much to like Bubba Sparx...

If you're going to listen to rap, at least listen to good rap. Can anyone say underground rap? Atmosphere? Mos Def? Mr. Lif? Eyedea?

Do any of you even realize what rap is about? Most of it has no lyrical value at all.

My bad, listening to people scream about b--ches and h-es and pimps and playas must be entertaining. By the way, check out my ice yo.

Mos Def is too much into that black pride......Mos Def is not underground anyways.

Yes I listen to underground hip hop but there some hip hop cd's that are main street and Bubba Sparxxx has a great cd.

Who makes these rules about what you can listen to? Different strokes for different folks, get over it. I don't think there's anything worse than someone telling you your taste in music is wrong, just because you like something doesn't mean someone else has to.

Your missing the point Hugg. I'm not sure how old you are, but being 14 listening to that sh-t makes you want to be "gangsta". It's alright and even sometimes funny as long as you know how to contain yourself. White children should not want to be "ghetto" nor should anyone else. It just doesn't make any sense.

I'm 22...and I guess I see your point. I listen to music to listen to music, nothing more, nothing less. I like OutKast because, frankly, I think they're funny as hell and the songs make me laugh, I don't get much more complex than that with music. If it's got a beat I can dance (badly) to, I usually don't have a problem with it.

But I do see your point in many regards.

Totally behind you, I live in a middle to upper class white communitty, and the number one clothing brand worn is sean john or fubu, you might think rappers are cool which is okay , but the rappers are going way out of line, theres almost influencing being ghetto. I tell you, listen to one 2pac cd (my man) and you wont wonna be within 200 miles of a ghetto.

Bubba Sparxx is my favorite white rapper. I only listen to rap that comes outta the dirty....The only other mainstream southern white rapper I know is t-bo from 504 boyz and he's sorry he can't rap.
