August 28, 200620 yr It's being reported that Gomes is going to have season ending surgery on his shoulder, and with Branyan being traded and Wiggington rehabbing, plus the fact that Young was a late scratch from tonight's lineup, all signs point to him being called up. It will be interesting, to say the least.
