Marlins2003
I thought last night that by now someone would have commented on Amezega being moved into leftfield in the ninth and his resultant possibly game-saving play against the wall. It looked on tv like he was dazed after colliding with it, but held on and as good as Hanley's play was late in the game, cutting in front ofUggla to field that Baltimore chop, I thought Amezega's play was definitely the "web gem" of the night. Had Willingham been there god knows if we would be in a celebratory mood post game. Even tonight we found more ways to give them five outs an inning. rferry
A hit is a hit Except when using it to measure talent/ability. You're veering close to the "why a foul ball down the line worthless to us, but a double down the line is great" that people hated. Granted, at the time the batter (Castro) wasn't too popular
