Marlins Troll
Since we have a 05 and a 06 version, I thought I should do the 04 version. I think it was the rain delay that ultimate kill this team in August.
Mauer7
if I remember correctly, it was the hitters.
Guest FlummoxedLummox
Because of games postponed by rain, we had to play 23 games in 20 days or something to that effect. The team couldn't overcome it.
rferry
Hitting. It shut down in mid-August. Starting pitcher found new energy and carried us back into the race until they reverted back to their 5 or 6-inning performances which combined with a weak bullpen and tough schedule to leave us limping towards the end of the season. Marlins Troll
It was true: No I-Rod, no clutch hitting! The Delgado somewhat gave us an orinary lineup in 2005 though.
rferry
The 2005 team struggled just as much if not more in the clutch than the 2004 club. I recall that the late-inning offense rarely showed up.
TSwift25
Truthfully, the Hurricanes. I honestly believe that if we didn't have to sit for three days while on absolute fire, and then lose a home match, go into chicago and have to start Logan Kensing we'd have snuck in.
