Best single of 2006?

I say Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin, with honorable mention going to Vicarious by Tool, Disturbed's cover of Land of Confusion, and Three Days Grace's Animal I Have Become.

"My Love", Justin Timberlake.

It's obviously not the dark horse pick or anything, but it's a damn good song with a great beat.

Hinder-lips of an Angel

T.I- What you know about that

and a solid #2

Nelly Frutado-- Promiscuous girl

1. Ne-Yo- So Sick

2. Gnarls Barkley- Crazy

3. Natasha Bedingfield- Unwritten

4. RHCP- Dani California

5. Calle 13- Atrevete te te

Almost forgot Ridin Dirty. Pure Awesomeness!

Jay-Z - Show Me What You Got

Ghostface Killah - The Champ

Radon - Write Back or Get Slapped

Armalite - Entitled

Converge - No Heroes

In no order:

The Teddy Bears and Iggy Pop-Punk Rocker (it's in the new Caddy commercial)

Gnarls Barkley-Go Go Gadget Gospel or Transformer (DEFINITELY one of the best albums of the year, by far)

Anything by Dragonforce

I'm always running about 6 months behind as far as music goes, but my favorite songs released this year are as follows:

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy (though this was on some Best Of Lists last year, it still wasn't officially released until this year)

Built To Spill - Goin' Against Your Mind

Silversun Pickups - Common Reactor

Well, if we're going to say Crazy is from this year, then definitely it goes on my list.

St Elsewhere was released in the US in 2006, so that's why I counted it... I didn't include Fort Minor cause it was released last year, but if not, Remember the Name makes the list

The Champ is sick, but shouldn't be on this list, nor should the new Jay-Z song, imho... Can't argue with My Love, or Promiscuous, or really anything Timbaland has done all year.

"Holly Wood Died" by Yellowcard. Not a single but it's one of the best songs ever. I love Yellowcard and their newest album was GODLY. "Postcards From Hell" by Zebrahead is a close second.

My favorite songs so far in no particular order:

Tetragrammation- The Mars Volta

Jambi- Tool

How To Save a Life-The Fray

Best album of the year so far definatly goes to the Chilli Peppers though.
