December 10, 200619 yr Where is Denis Potvin? The games are SO much better with him... hey...Jessie Agler is much worse covering the radio. this game has been insane so far. So glad I didn't go to my schools hockey game and stayed to listen to this one even Goldie had to let out a WOOOOOOOOOOOO....shootout time! darn... it was a rollarcoaster - but it shouldn't have been. they came out flat and fell behind quickly. the effort was better in the 2nd and 3rd, but still not good enough. i didn't see the desperation they showed against buffalo. i think this game was dissapointing. had dipietro not handed us a present, we would have lost in regulation... on another note; alex auld is unbelievably bad at shootouts.
December 10, 200619 yr 0-5 in shootouts now. people shrug them off as no big deal, but had we won those we could be 15-15-1, good for 9th in the conference and 1 point out of the 8th and final playoff spot. instead, we're 10-15-6, 26 points and in 14th place in the east. brutal.. :thumbdown
