Medias Blancas
According to the Herald, South Florida authorities are preparing for waves of people coming in the event Fidel Castro dies. Here is the link to the article, which I believe you have to be registered with Herald.com to access.
BullDurham
Miami also needs to brace for mass riots, or is that only with Haitians and Cubans just "demonstrate"?
Accord
When Castro dies, wouldn't they want to STAY in Cuba since it would be the beginning of a new and most likely better era?
Guest Juanky
Miami also needs to brace for mass riots, or is that only with Haitians and Cubans just "demonstrate"? Yeah, massive riots after the Marlins and Heat won championships right? When Castro dies, wouldn't they want to STAY in Cuba since it would be the beginning of a new and most likely better era? :lol  No way. Those people are dying to leave that sh*thole. Furthermore, the brother will be worse so they'll have a small window to get out and take advantage of the US' dumb wet foot/dry foot policy. Lefty
I would assume the majority of the 'mass migration' would be Castro supporters who don't want to be stuck in Cuba when the new regime takes over.   But ya, if it's RAUL, then i can see anyone and everyone trying to escape Cuba. MarlinFan10
Great, because what South Florida needs right now if a higher population. I guess it's time to start destroying more Everglades for some extra room. :confused

FreshFish
He supposely "died" a month or two ago. At it was and is BAU (Business as Usual) Nothing is happening. Castro is history, he no longer controls the regime. I was hoping for some real riots and the people coming out and making something happen. But I was very wrong
