Colorado Republican Rep. Tom Tancredo, an outspoken opponent of illegal immigration whose utterances have stirred considerable anger in South Florida, said today he will form an exploratory committee for a possible presidential campaign. Tancredo generated a fierce debate in Miami after he described the city as a ``Third World country.''

After making a weekend trip to Iowa, home to the first nominating caucus in January 2008, Tancredo said voters told him other presidential candidates don't share their views.

''They believe that there is a void in this race that none of the other candidates are willing or able to fill,'' he said.

We really don't need a xenophobic president in this day and age.

To be nice, he's wasting his money.

i agree totally....and not only the fact that he alienated mostly all the latins in South Florida, which makes up quite a bit of the voting population in one of the biggest states...he wouldn't make it past a primary if he really went after it

My opinion

Hilary or Obama for the Dems

Rudy Guliani or McCain for the Rep

that would make for an intresting race

No way in hell would I vote for a jerk like him.

I still say Giuliani is not going to come close to the nomination for the GOP, even if he runs. He's just too far to the left to win a Republican nomination.

I wish he would run and the Repubs would elect him. That would give the Dems a sure win in the general election.
