January 24, 200719 yr Greensboro, NC -- The Atlantic Coast Conference released 2007 football schedules for all 12 league schools on Wednesday including Florida State's, which features the season-opener at Clemson on Labor Day night. Florida State will have five home games in 2007, but will play a neutral site game against Alabama at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville on September 29th. In addition to the Crimson Tide, the Seminoles will play non-conference opponents UAB, at home, and Colorado and Florida on the road. The Seminoles, who are in the ACC's Atlantic Division, will again play three teams from the Coastal Division in 2007. Miami and Duke are FSU's permanent opponents from the other division and in 2007 the Seminoles will play Virginia Tech in the regular season for the first time since the Hokies joined the league. Virginia Tech replaces Virginia from last year's schedule in the ACC opponent spot that will rotate through the years. "This is probably one of the most difficult schedules we have had since we joined the ACC," said FSU Head Coach Bobby Bowden. "It will be the first time we've had Miami, Virginia Tech and Boston College on our schedule at the same time. "We've got Alabama, Florida, Colorado and UAB out of conference with only UAB at home. The schedule will be a tough, but we will work to be ready for the challenge. There is not doubt that if we have success with this schedule we will be back where we belong." The ACC will announce game times and television information at a later date. 2007 Florida State Football Schedule Date Opponent Location Sept. 3 at Clemson Clemson, SC Sept. 8 UAB TALLAHASSEE Sept. 15 at Colorado Boulder, CO Sept. 22 Open Sept. 29 vs. Alabama Jacksonville, FL Oct. 6 NC State TALLAHASSEE Oct. 11 at Wake Forest Winston-Salem, NC Oct. 20 MIAMI TALLAHASSEE Oct. 27 DUKE TALLAHASSEE Nov. 3 at Boston College Chestnut Hill, MA Nov. 10 at Virginia Tech Blacksburg, VA Nov. 17 MARYLAND TALLAHASSEE Nov. 24 at Florida Gainesville, FL ACC WEEK BY WEEK: Saturday, September 1 Wake Forest at Boston College Connecticut at Duke Georgia Tech at Notre Dame Villanova at Maryland Marshall at Miami James Madison at North Carolina Central Florida at NC State Virginia at Wyoming East Carolina at Virginia Tech Monday, September 3 Florida State at Clemson Saturday, September 8 NC State at Boston College Louisiana-Monroe at Clemson Duke at Virginia Alabama-Birmingham at Florida State Samford at Georgia Tech Maryland at Florida International Miami at Oklahoma North Carolina at East Carolina Virginia Tech at LSU Nebraska at Wake Forest Thursday, September 13 West Virginia at Maryland Saturday, September 15 Boston College at Georgia Tech Furman at Clemson Northwestern at Duke Florida State at Colorado Florida International at Miami Virginia at North Carolina Wofford at NC State Ohio at Virginia Tech Army at Wake Forest Thursday, September 20 Texas A&M at Miami Saturday, September 22 Army at Boston College Clemson at NC State Duke at Navy Georgia Tech at Virginia Maryland at Wake Forest North Carolina at South Florida William & Mary at Virginia Tech Saturday, September 29 Massachusetts at Boston College Clemson at Georgia Tech Duke at Miami Florida State vs. Alabama (Jacksonville, Fla.) January 25, 200719 yr I hope you guys beat Saban, but I really don't see FSU having that great of a year with Drew Weatherford still at QB.

It just seems to me they play more than their fair share.
