This guy has mowed em' down in the minors. He concluded last season with a 1.80 era and a 1.10 whip. He also had an amazing 13.50 k/9 ratio.

95-98 MPH heater with movement, killer curve. Outstanding stuff. Beckettish/Burnettish stuff. Walks a ton of guys, though. He had TJ surgery two years ago.

Great pitching from everyone. Vanden Hurk had that one bad inning, but that was it. Great relief pitching from Lindstrom, Field, and Owens to earn the save. Nice to see the team put up a dozen hits. Uggla big homer.

 

Oh, almost forgot our defense. FIVE double plays! Very nice work Fish! Great game today all around!!
