June 9, 200719 yr I am assuming Logan Morrison was taken as a draft and follow player or a player they thought would end up going to college in the 22nd round he just chose to forgo college? Not many 19 year olds drafted so low come out of the gates like he has.
June 9, 200719 yr I haven't tried to follow the minors really until this year so don't laugh at my dumb questions. Who is this guy? Val Pascucci: 2/3 r hr(18) rbi bb Can he hit for average? What position does he play? I just see 18 HR's and I'm impressed by that.

June 9, 200719 yr Ramp, this is just a suggestion. Can you add the probable pitchers for the upcoming game in these threads? Some team web sites dont show them.

Not many 19 year olds drafted so low come out of the gates like he has. Yep he was a draft and follow from the '05 draft who we eventually signed at the deadline before the '06 draft. He spent the year 05-06 at Maple Woods CC, Jacob Blackwood was on the same squad and we drafted him in '06. We signed some more draft and follow picks just before the draft this year too, and i'm copying this over from BA; RHP Eric Basurto (2006 D/F, 33rd round), LHP Kedrick Martin (2006 D/F, 28th round), LHP Jonathan Van Looy (2006 D/F, 29th round), 3B Mitch MacDonald (2006 D/F, 46th round) No idea if any of them have a future, but MacDonald is certainly one to root for. The 46th rounder is from Regina, Saskatchewan, so he did well to get drafted. He spent the last year at Monterey Peninsula College though and put up really good numbers and earned a scholarship at San Jose State, although obviously now he will be going to the gulf coast league instead.
