June 9, 200719 yr That inning helped him. He can probably throw 20 in the 4th and then another 20 in the 5th. If he doesnt use 40 pitches these next two innings, then maybe start the 6th.
June 9, 200719 yr Author No way, he won't go much over 90. Why stress him in the debut against a team like the Pirates? The Skanks would be smart to ease him in to it through June and gradually extend him so he can be big in August. I expect they'll do that. K looking, numero quatro. 5th K. Woo hoo! Pirates tie it up. 2-run double by Jack Wilson ~84 pitches through 3.2 for Clemens
June 9, 200719 yr Clemens finishes the 5th with 96 pitches. If the yankees can score here in the bottom of the 5th I think he would be inline for the win.
June 9, 200719 yr Author Anyone got a pitch count? I lost track has to be around 95. I'd be very surprised if they brought him back for the 6th but I hope it happens. Hes had a pretty damn good split and he pitched well on the outside of the plate. I'd be concerned about his velocity (~88 mph) and inability to get inside very much. Plus, it's the Pirates.
June 9, 200719 yr bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the 5th. A few runs here gets clemens to 1-0.
June 9, 200719 yr Author Bases juiced with nobody out, I just need to know if God is coming back out so I don't have to watch this suckfest anymore.
June 9, 200719 yr Bases juiced with nobody out, I just need to know if God is coming back out so I don't have to watch this suckfest anymore. ya, I am waiting for the same thing. I am going to watch scarface (for the first time) as soon as he gets yanked.
June 9, 200719 yr Author Skanks go up, 4-3 on the sac Bases juiced with nobody out, I just need to know if God is coming back out so I don't have to watch this suckfest anymore. ya, I am waiting for the same thing. For some reason it escaped me. I keep hearing about it. I was determined to watch it about a month ago but I couldnt find the dvd. I finally found it today. I finally saw godfather for the first time last year. I plan on watching godfather 2 maybe tomorrow or sometime this week. However I probably need to watch #1 again to refresh my memory.
June 9, 200719 yr Author You could but it's not really necessary to me. The Godfather, Part II stands very well on its own. For the love of Christ get this final out. I don't wanna waste anymore of my afternoon on the computer.
June 9, 200719 yr Author Retarded to leave him in, but with that bullpen it doesn't leave you with much choice. 6th K, splitter again.
June 9, 200719 yr 7th K that was his best inning. He only threw 12 pitches. Clemens: 6 innings, 108 pitches, 3er, 7 ks
June 9, 200719 yr Author Definitely was. Split was damn good and he pitched away from the batters very well. Good 1st start. lol @ Yankee Stadium erupting over a 4-3 lead in the 6th against the Pirates.

I wonder if they will throw him out against arizona next instead of the mets?

Other than that, I see no schedule manipulation for Roger.
June 9, 200719 yr Maholm is a joke. The only reason why he's still with the big club is b/c of Spacy Tracy's love affair with him (well, that or Maholm has some scandalous pics). Brian Bullington or John Van Benschoten should be up instead of that worthless piece of crap.
