October 16, 200322 yr I went down to the local karaoke bar to watch the last few innings of Florida's NL CHampionship victory...After the Marlins won I started on my victory pitcher and put in to sing a few tunes...I was up on stage (in my Marlins grey away jersey and W.C. hat) singing some Journey (yes I sang Dont Stop Believin' - I can sing Steve Perry on a good night) when some Cubs fans at a nearby table (male and female) started screaming "Marlins suck!!!!" at me...so I walked up to the table with the mic and sang in their faces..They got up and left.... I think I actually hate the Cubs now more than the Braves and Phillies combined.... BYE CUBS!!!!!!!! TAKE YOUR CURSE AND GET OUT!!!! and one more thing... ESPN BBTN: Eat crow!!!!!!!!! I mean you Brantley, Harold Reynolds and Bobby V. there were some NY Yankees fans out at the bar expecting to face us after Game 7 and they said it should prove a good pitching match-up for the entire series...so I sang "NY State Of Mind" for them by Billy Joel ok,Im a bit buzzed,I'll sign off now... WTG MARLINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T STOP BELIEVIN'!!!!!!!!!! DON'T STOP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
October 16, 200322 yr I still hate the Braves more than the Cubs. And I hate those asshat FOX announcers(Leiter excluded, baseball 101 stuff was over the top though). To make things worse we get Tim McCarver in the World Series. Well hopefully I'll be able to get tickets to one of the games and I'll miss one broadcast.
