July 18, 200719 yr Anyone watching it? I have given it a little bit of time here and there. This is really one of those competitions that pushes men and their bodies to extremes ... and those falls are usually fun too plus there's those beautiful settings Michael Rasmussen (DEN) won stage 9 yesterday and its now the holder of that coveted yellow jersey. Total time: 49:23:48'' other people that have impressed me: Ivan Mayo (ESP): awesome attack on one of the hills that brought him up into the top standings yesterday. He went ahead of like 10 - 15 people in a matter of seconds and is currently 3rd behind Rasmussen & Alejandro Valverde Levi Leipheimer (USA): one of the favorites and has kept up the pace really well in every stage. Currently 9th today is one of the most grueling stages. Just a big downhill, you hit any rock or break the wrong way and you will end up in oblivion and possibly out of the tourney 10? Etapa: Tallard - Marseille / 229,5 kms (18-7-2007) = 127.5 miles

July 19, 200719 yr Sorry to interupt the riveting cycling hate for a moment but...... I watch the Tour every year. Its on early in the morning when there isnt any baseball on. To me, the last 2 miles of a stage is one of the most exciting things in sports. All the jockeying for position before the sprint then the actual sprint at the end is intense. I consider myself to be in very good shape but those dudes are freakin cardio machines with resting heart rates of like 35-40 BPM.
