Bullpen idea from Berardino

Featured Replies

He offers the idea of adding left-hander Tommy Phelps to the roster & dropping Tejera. Is there anyone who can foresee using Tejera in a big spot? I can't.

Phelps did a nice job back when he was healthy. If he's feeling up to it, it's not a bad idea.

I couldn't agree more...

Tejera sucked i have always thought he much like Mondo was.... but as the season began to wind down the man stepped up so i like having him.....

I heard willis will be in the pen as well so there is another Lefti for ya.....

Phelps did look good earlier and Tejera had a few good recent outings so its a coin toss to me

Assuming Mike knows more about Phelp's health and sharpness (he hasn't pitched for months), if Jack sees value in it I say go for it.

Go Fish !

Why not add Phelps and drop Bump? You can't have too many lefties in Yankee Stadium. Unless they're already planning to drop Bump and add Andy Fox back into the mix.
